Are you a farm owner, operator or resident with old, unused farm tires laying around? District residents can recycle their implement, tractor and semi tires at the Farm Tire Recycling Collection.

Education and awareness is an important part of the District’s mission. The District worked with Woodville Township officials to place bright red signage on the recycle bins at Woodville Township.
The message - "Keep Locks Up - To Keep Lids Down".

The lid locks are positioned on the recycling containers to help keep the lids down on windy days. This helps to prevent loose material from blowing out of the container.

We are pleased to announce that Manuel "Manny" Guitierrez has joined the District as a Recycling Collection Assistant. Manuel will be responsible for servicing recycling pickups, helping maintain Aim to Be Green recycling drop-off sites and assisting at the District's Recycling & Processing Center. Manny will also perform light maintenance duties.

2018 Competitive Funding Grant -
2nd Funding Round Grant Deadline: June 30th

Don't forget to register to attend the Competitive Funding Grant Meeting for the second funding round in 2018 scheduled on Thursday, May 31st at 10:00am at the District's main office in Fremont.
If you are a part of a government agency, educational institution or non-profit organization and are interested in applying you must attend this meeting in order to apply for the second funding round in 2018. Ottawa Sandusky Seneca Green Recycling Scene

The Teen Department at Tiffin-Seneca Public Library hosted, “Craftastic” for teens led by Monica Perry, Seneca County Education Specialist with the OSS Solid Waste Distict.

Fifteen teens in grades 6 through 12 created a framed piece of art made from recycled magazines. The teens learned how to create something new and colorful by reusing materials found at home.
